Day Camp - Cub Scouts

Cub Scout Day Camp will be June 21-23 at Corbin Park in Post Falls. Please let your leader or Casey Robison know as soon as possible, if your cub will be attending and what days you would be willing to volunteer at camp (half days, full days, driving, etc). Thanks!

Centennial Trail Bike Ride

Our activity on April 14th was a 5-mile bike ride on Centennial Trail. We were worried the weather wouldn't cooperate since we'd had so much rain and hail that week, but Wednesday dawned sunny and beautiful!

These boys have so much energy, they were hard to keep up with! I'm disappointed I forgot to take any pictures.

PARENTS: The wolves that attended this activity (Dallin, Ethan, Preston, Garrett) can mark off Requirement 9e in their books!

Safety

We had such a fun activity on April 7th! Trooper Robert Noack came to talk to us about safety. He showed us his taser...

and one of our boys (Josh Givens) found himself handcuffed! Thank you Trooper Noack!! Then we had a fun time learning about the basics of First Aid from nurse Jenny Givens. The boys learned to stay calm, get help and the basics of applying bandages and taking a pulse.

Pinewood Derby

First you have a weigh-in...

and you line your cars up...

then you take a track...

and you put two cars at the top...

and you watch them race down really fast...

and you watch to see which car is faster...

and this gives you a bunch of happy boys!
