Day Camp (What to Bring) & Medical Release Form

Wild, Wild, West Day Camp at Camp Sekani (6707 E. Upriver Drive) in Spokane, WA (Head west on Upriver Drive, should be on right side west of Argonne Road). July 13-17 Times: Day camps begin each day at 8:30am, except the first day when they begin at 8:00am. Day camps end each day at 4:30pm, except the last day when they end at 5:00pm. ADULTS - What to Bring to Day Camp: # 1 - your sense of fun & adventure! 2. Your parent & den leader skills 3. Portable chair 4. Cooler with ice for your den’s lunches 5. Hat & umbrella, cell phone - optional 6. Pen & paper for note taking 7. Ideas for den yells, cheers, songs, skits 8. Medical release form filled out, parts A&C ADULTS and CUB SCOUTS need to bring EVERY DAY: 1. Wear your camp shirt each day! 2. At least 2 bottles of water (1 frozen) 3. Sun block - apply some before camp also 4. Socks & closed toe shoes NO SANDALS! 5. Swimsuit if you are attending a swimming camp 6. Towel - you will be getting wet at all camps 7. Cash for the Trading Post - drinks, treats, etc. 8. Backpack with your name for all your things 9. Sack lunch & snacks 10. First day bring medical release form filled out. DEN LEADERS (Josh Fraser & Jacob Keene) RESPONSIBILITIES: *Assist with check-in and check-out * Remain in camp with Scouts until all boys in your den have been released to a parent * Perform frequent head counts * Ensure Scouts use the Buddy System (What do buddies do? Stick like glue!) * Report all injuries and illness to the First Aid Officer. They are the ONLY ones allowed to issue medication. *Report all hazards and problems to the Camp Director, Lee Cox. *Make sure scouts: 1. Stay within camp boundaries 2. Sticks & Stones stay on the ground 3. Do not harm nature or each other 4. Shirt, shoes & socks to be worn at all times (unless swimming) 5. Use sun screen & drink enough water ** No knives (unless you have whittling chip) or weapons brought to camp ** No bad language Parent Volunteers: Monday - Spring Van Cleave & Rob Fraser Rob will be picking up Brad Molt, Jacob Keene & Brock Chapman at Brock's house at 7:30am Monday morning. Address is: 4823 N. Snow Owl (across the street from church on west side). Spring will be taking Devin, Dillon & Ethan. Tuesday - Spring & Dave Van Cleave Jeremy or Julie Molt will pick up Brock, Josh, Jacob & Brad at Brock's house (4823 N. Snow Owl) at 8:00am & will drop off at our house at 8:10am. We will take Devin, Dillon, Ethan, Brock, Josh, Jacob & Brad to day camp. Wednesday - Spring & Dave Van Cleave Jeremy or Julie Molt will pick up Brock, Josh, Jacob & Brad at Brock's house at 8:00am and drop boys off at our house by 8:10am. We will take Devin, Dillon, Ethan, Brock, Josh, Jacob & Brad to day camp. Thursday - Spring Van Cleave, & Jerry & Colleen Hillman The Hillmans will pick up Jacob Keene & Brad Molt (23315 E. Wellesley), Spring will pick up Josh & Brock at Brock's house (Josh meet at Brock's house) and take them & Devin, Dillon & Ethan to camp. Friday - Spring Van Cleave, Heather Chapman and Jerry & Colleen Hillman Hillman's will pick up Jacob & Brad, Heather will take Brock & Josh (Josh meet at Brock's house). Spring will take Devin, Dillon & Ethan.
